The fourth annual FestivaLavender - August 14, 2005

Another wonderful day with a record 350 people joining in on the fun. There were artists and musicans in the garden, skits, demonstrations, a photo contest, the Limerick contest and great food. Our 'garden room' was open with all things lavender for visitors to enjoy. The Mayne Island Quilter's Guild joined us with an impressive selection of hand made quilts hanging from lines strung through the trees in the forest.

Sunday, August 11, 2002, the first annual FestivaLavender was a memorable day of all things lavender. Over 200 visitors enjoyed the art, crafts, plants, music, demonstrations, and sun.

The second FestivaLavender in 2003 was equally as successful with more music, entertainment, lavender crafts and good food. Each year the festival has grown and become more successful. In 2005, our fourth year, 350 people came out to join the festivities.

The Lavender Ice Cream was the unanimous choice for a gourmet delight.
